Answers:
try drinking a glass of warm milk 30 minutes before you sleep
work harder during the day
take small steps in sleeping earlier each day
on days you cant go to sleep, lay on your bed and try to stay awake(its some kind of psychological thing..reverse psychology maybe?)
don't nap in the afternoon, don't workout or do anything to raise your core body temperature shortly before bed. don't eat so many fatty foods late in the day because it lowers the quality of your sleep.
You need to gradually move your bedtime back in 30-minute increments until you are going to sleep at the time you'd like. Some things that might help you is to exercise early in the evening... at 7 or 8 pm for an hour or so. A jog or brisk walk might help relieve stress and help you relax. Also, take a warm bath or shower to relax before bedtime... read a book, create a calming routine.
If you need to take something to help you sleep, try Melatonin. It's an all-natural supplement that you can buy at any health food store. GNC, Whole Foods, etc. It actually helps you relax and fall asleep and has no side effects.
Try reading or go to bed 30 minutes before you regularly do so you get to bed on time.
go to bed at 1 am..but you must wake up early...do whatever it takes...by night youll be exausted enought to sleep at an earlier time.the key here is to wake up as early as you can and tolerate how you feel all day till its your normal bed time...over time you be back to a normal pattern
