What happens.?


Question:
In 3rd grade(I just graduated highschool) I fell out of a tree and I went to my mom and dad...and a few minutes later my mom came in my room asking me questions and she took me to the hospital.

She said she was worried since I had fallen asleep. What would happen since I had a concusion and I had fallen asleep?

Answers:
never wake up
you might not have woken up
cause if you have a concussion and you fall asleep your brain stops or something like that
they like to keep you awake after a concusion cos ur at risk of falling into a coma. i think keeping you awake stops the brain from shuttin down or something..
There are certain things that signal a more severe head injury (nausea and vomiting, amnesia, being unable to stay awake, severe headache). So if these symptoms arise within the first 24 hours after the injury, there could be bleeding in the brain or something else seriously wrong. Your mom did the right thing. It's always better to be safe than sorry.
