Question:
For years my palms of my hands peel as if I had a sunburn. This happens usually in the summer and in the winter. Is it the heat and then extreme cold is it anti-bacterial soap (I'm not a repetitive washer so I'm not wearing away the oil that I know of) and I lacking nutrients in my diet? Any help would be appreciated.thanks!
Lotions don't seem to help.I've used cheap to expensive...it doesn't work!
Answers:
Eczema. I have it on my palms of my hand and bottom of my feet. It sometimes itches and they peel constantly. I use a cream for it, it works alright. No cure though.
you need a prescription cream to treat eczema (as im presuming it is). eczema cannot be cured entirely, but it can flare up because of stress, and any irritants (chemicals, smoke, harsh weather, detergents that irritate the skin, etc). your GP may prescribe a topical steroid cream and some anti-biotics to reduce itching and infection.
