Is one cigarette a month bad for you?
Question:
Answers:
The effects of cigarette smoking are measured in "Pack Years" - the number of packs smoked per day times the number of years smoked. So if you're smoking about a pack of cigarettes per year (2 a day would equal 24 a year), the health risks would be statistically irrelevent.
You will NEVER be able to keep that number per month.
It will lead to one or two a week, then a day, then an hour.
You will need a hell of a lot more willpower to smoke one per month than none at all !
Please stop now, while you still can :)
yes
Cigarettes are bad in general so to say that only one a month will be okay is not right. It is generally not healthy to fill your lungs full of smoke.
