Bumped my little toe?
Question:

I wouldn't pull it off. Trim any of it that's loose and isn't too painful to work with. If it does fall off completely on it's own it will eventually grow back though it may take a few months to do so. It shouldn't become ingrown or anything if the entire nail falls off.
If the whole nail does fall off just put a topical ointment on it such as Neosporin or other such anti-bacterial ointment. Be sure to keep it as clean as you can to promote healing and nail growth. If you have any problems, such as the nail starting to look like it'll become ingrown, you might want to see a podiatrist and see what they say. It's doubtful you'll have any problems though since it's such a small nail.
As far as getting a pedicure with an injured toe I'd say just let the person doing it know that you injured your toe nail. They'll either leave it alone or trim it carefully for you.
Good luck!
i do that all the time.lol
just cut off the peice thats hanging or loose
then in a few weeks it should be normal again
good luck
let it come off by itself as you might cause infection =keep it clean and covered until healed=it will grow back again the same way it was
Ouch! Your little toe nail will fall off. Don't pull it off cause it will hurt really bad and bleed and may get infected , just let it fall off. It should grow back fine.God Bless You!
Trim as much of the nail back as you can and keep it clean. It will continue to grow even if you lose it.
Any nail I have smashed, bumped etc.... has either fallen off on it's own, or I took it off it was that loose. Grew back fine with no problems. If their is no open areas you should not get an infection, if you do take it off & it bleeds a slight bit, just keep it clean, dry & maybe a band aid on it a few days. I would let it fall off on it's own as you have lower risk of infection & will fall off when it is good & ready. Pedicures, do what is comfortable, if it doesn't hurt then do it, polish removed in an open area & you will know it in a few seconds. All of this info is considering you are not a diabetic or have foot or circulation problems if you do, watch it close & see a doctor.
I've done this too. Trim the nail, keep clean, and I put a band-aid on mine while I had to wear shoes.
