It's just part of being a teenager. It's absolutely normal. At this stage in your life, hormones are going crazy and things are changing. Everything you're feeling is normal and healthy. My mom is Chinese, and there are things that are just culturally different, so be prepared for your mom to not be supportive in certain ways. It's not that she doesn't care about you, it is just that certain things are "taboo" in their culture that isn't in ours.
