Good Lord! You are just a mess and all of that because you quit drinking? More info please.
You are not having alcohol withdrawl because you quit drinking 6 weeks ago. You are probably noticing symptoms you have had all along, but missed them because you were intoxicated.
Go to the doctor and tell him you are having the symptoms you listed and he will prescribe probably some type of histamine blocker like Protonix and make you feel better. In the meantime, sleep with your head elevated and take some OTC med like Pepcid AC.
Also, I didn't intend to be such a smart ***. Congratulations for stopping drinking! You deserve applause. Have a wonderful life!!

Other Answers:
Alcohol withdraws. Try drinking plenty of water and exercise.
HUN GO 2 THE DOC. THEY KNOW A LOT ABOUT THIS KINDA STUFF. WELL I HOPE U FEEL BETTER.. BUT HEY B4 GOING TO THE DOC TRY TAKING MEDICINE. WELL GoOd LuCk!
Go to AA, see a doc., and stay sober, drinking makes things worse.
If you have been addicted to alcohol, expect physical symptoms of withdrawal. Drink lots of water and avoid going back to drinking, and over time the symptoms will improve. I don't know what else to advise. For some upset stomach feelings, a small amount of cider vinegar in a glass of water may help (2 tsp or so).
you are having withdrawns it will get better

Hard to know exactly what is going on.

It is not uncommon to get stomach upset and diarrhea when you sober up after drinking heavily for a long time. I don't think that normal reaction would last 6 weeks. You should see your doctor. Something abnormal like GERD or an ulcer could be present. It could have been present for a while. It's possible that when you were drinking you didn't notice it
You may have hyper acidity. Avoid spicy, hot and oily food. Drink at least 10 glass of water everyday. You have not written that you smoke or not. If you smoke then try to reduce it. take exercise regularly. I f your problem does not subside then you must consult a Doctor, you need some investigation.
Congratulations for doing this but you may be having some symptoms related to your long term drinking..Did you have these
symptoms before you stopped drinking?..I would recommend that you see a doctor so he can put you on some medication for your gastritis symptoms and also sounds like reflux from the over production of stomach acid which comes back in your esohagus..keep up the good work and see something right away.
with draw it will pass if it worsens call a dr.
Sounds like the effects of Alcoholic Gastritis. Go see a Doctor!
