I have a small red oval shaped mark on my left hand?

Question: I have a small oval shaped mark on my left hand. Reddish in colour with the centre made up of dry dead skin. it is not itchy and not sourer to touch. The dead skin looks flaky. What is it?

How long as this been there?, has it just come up or is it something that's been there for a while? Eczema is usually itchy so I wouldn't have though it would be that. Get it checked out by the doc if it has been there for a while or growing.
