Is anybody ato blueberries.?

Question:

Any time I have blueberries, in a muffin, or unknowingly when I eat something that has it, I get areally bad stomach ache. I try to avoid them. Anybody else have trouble with these?

i am very allergic to blueberries. I get horrible stomachaches and a rash as well. the best thing to do, well, really the only thing to do is to avoid them alltogether. it sucks if you like them, but if you want to avoid the stomache pains, you'll have to give them up. also, you may want to talk to your doctor or be referred to an allergist for a test to see if you may be allergic to anything else.
it also may be a food sensitivity or intolerance rather than an allergy. the outcome is still the same, you'll still have to stop eating them. hope this helps you

I assume you've asked."allergic to" blueberries?? (typo?) -- As an Allergist (and while I suppose ANYTHING is POSSIBLE!), I'd say.from your reports of your symptoms..Not to worry..seems like you may or may not be intolerant perhaps (or just had a bad day of it!), but truly "allergic" in a scientific/immunologic sense? Doesn't fit! So..enjoy! (they are EXTREMELY healthful and beneficial fruit on many fronts!) GOOD LUCK!
