The only thing I know that you can contract from swimming in lakes is Impetigo, but you don't get it from other swimmers it is an infection you pick up swimming in places that can't be cleaned like a swimming pool can with chlorine. :-)

whats STD stand for ? o yes sexually transmitted disease . mostly meaning the most probable way you can get that disease is from sexual contact . other wise they would have named it TSTD (toilet seat transmitted disease)or GOTD (genital ocean transmitted disease ) that's the one id be worried you would get , most defiantly .
