Bone Cancer..do you know anyone who has it? My dad had it and recently passed. i would like to talk to people

Question: my father recently passed away from bone cancer. it was pretty hard for me to care for my dad. It was secondary cancer and i would like to talk to people who know anyone who had or has bone cancer. i would like to talk about the disease and so on so if you want to email me that would be great. we can help each other out

I dont have bone cancer but my hubby specializes in treating bone cancers(Im in the medical field also) so I hear alot about the disease and the havoc it reaks in a person..unfortunately I understand it all..I like it best when he tells me that the little 6 yrs old they did treatment on is now in remission and the worst was when he lost 3 patients in a day.they were all near the end of stage 4.so if you need to chat chat away.:) I also know what its like to lose a parent to cancer.I lost both of mine to that horrible disease

My father didn't pass away with bone cancer, but skin cancer. It was a tough ordeal to go through. It takes a lot of time and a lot of healing, but in the end it does get better. And to answer that other question you posted - There is no one right way to grieve, trust me. I hope that you realize that at least now your father is not suffering any longer and that he's at peace. I hope that gives you some measure of comfort.

Our father passed away a few years ago from that, and other problems. it was rather horrible. He fell quite a bit, and we ended up taking care of him ourselves, as their are alot of family.
