does anyone know about flaxseed containing high lignan in fighting breast cancer?

I did not know that it had anti-cancer causing properties, but it is a strong anti-oxidant ( which would fight carcinogens in the system), so I can see why it might help fight breast cancer. It does have alot of other good healthy effects on the body. Alot of people take flax seed oil these days. It couldn't hurt!

I had breast cancer and we'd eat just about anything that would make us feel the slightest bit better during chemo! *grin*
I know lots of women who used it. One of them told me "It had better help. It tastes vile. It's a b***h to prepare and the only store that carries it is all the way across town!"
