This called hematuria. It is not normal to urinate blood or to have blood in the urine. It can be due to infection and/or to trauma/injury caused by a number of things internal or external.
See your primary care provider who may want to order a urinalysis, urine culture and/or CBC (blood test) as well as examine you.
Try not worry. One of my patients recently went through this but it turned out to be (most likely) due to an undetected minor trauma and resolved itself.

The blood in your urine shows presence of infection in your urinary tract or some bleeding disorder. Only some definite cause should be there which causes presence of blood in your urine. Normally urine does not have gross blood in it.
