Hurt burn - after my angioplasty 1.5 yr ago it disappeared, now bothering again, why?
Question:
Answers:
Are you sure its heartburn and not chest pain? Chest pain isn't always sharp stabbing pains. Call your cardiologist.
Other Answers:
hmm. it could be heart burn but then again it could be your heart.
another attack maybe. Your coronary arteries can re-occlude even after angioplasty. I would go to ER and not wait. If you have nitroglycerin, aspirin, and antacids take some and go to ER. Please call your doctor. The symptoms may be angina, and not heart burn. Coronary artery disease is a chronic condition, and your angioplasty did not cure the problem. It just fixed one little culprit blockage. You need an evaluation by your physician, desperately. Good luck.
