It is a disease comprised of many factors and symptoms. Many with chronic pain get it after years of pain keeps them from getting deep, restorative sleep. This disease is hard to categorize because it has so many symptoms. And many of the symptoms are hard to describe. Mainly, it is characterized by pain, extreme fatigue, IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) terrible headaches, dropping things, foggy memory. I think there may be another symptom a day! Whatever, it is very hard to live with and very painful when it is flaring so be kind to those who have it in your family.
