does cetrizine for allergies have any side effects?

Question: I am using cetrizine 10 mg daily one dose to prevent sneezing runnning nose because of some allergy. Does this have any side effects?

Answers:
Drowsiness is not as common with the newer antihistamines. Other known problems could include headache, psychomotor impairment, and antimuscarinic effects such as urinary retention, dry mouth, blurred vision, and gastro-intestinal disturbances.

Note. however that these are less common with cetirizine than with older ones such as chlorphenamine (Piriton)
