Although your question on some level might make sense ( they kill different cells in your blood) unfortunately i do not think it is an answer.
They are both 'clever' diseases ..we all wish it was that simple.
:) I asked myself the same question when i was just getting into med-school .years ago:)

Best of luck to you.

what? Aids can be treated if we kill all the cell of the immune system, but them we would die anyway. Kinda sucks hu. Cancer is what you get when you have Aids, so if it cured it, we would only need to cure cancer to have a cure to aids, but it does not cure aids, it it a symtom of aids.

I am not wrong, the aids affects the immune system to the point that cancer invades the system. It is caused by the lack of the body to defend itself. Not all cancer is caused by aids, but lots of people with aids have cancers that have invaded their compromised bodies.

Dont believe me check it out for your self at the national cancer institute
wrong wrong wrong..you do not get cancer from aids. Cancer is a disease and HIV or AIDS is a disease. One does not affect the other.
AIDS is basically an attack on the immune cells (such as white blood cells)

Totally unrelated to cancer.

Cancer is an abnormal growth.
aids can be treated by medication but getting cancer is not gonna stop you from having aidsbut, it will cause you a whole lot more problems
I hope you're not trying to be funny. Aids is a disease that attacks the body's immune system and leaves the body in a weakened state. The body is then less able to fight off cancer.
