throat ulcers?

Question: My mother used to eat lot of tobbaco"pan-masala".She has developed mouth ulcers and had been cured also but this time throat ulcer is not curing.She has great difficulty in swallowing food thus she is taking liquids.Have shown to doctor but she is not responding.

Answers:
if she is not responding then this might be cause of a systemic cause she should have a full investigation too see if everything else is normal is she diabetic? is there any infections?
