What is the most promising treatment for brain stem cancer? It is inoperable, aggressive, and invasive.?

Question:

Answers:
My husband had a pilocytic astrocytoma in his cerabellum around his brain stem 8 years ago. It was surgically removed and required no further treatments other than a somewhat lengthy recovery from the surgery (6 months)and regular monitoring via MRI.

I think the treatment would depend on the location of the tumor and the cell type.
