Parkinsons Disease and MS?

My mum has just been diagnosed with Parkinsons and also has MS. It is rare to have both do you know anyone who has both and can give advice on how to cope, she is having a hard time with the drugs.

Hi. My heart goe's out to your mum. And she is going to need all the support she can get. Especialy as time goe's on. What i mean is. To answer your question in fairness. No i have not known anybody to have or ever suffered from both. But my father who sadly died 4years ago. Suffered from parkingsons for 25 year's that i'm aware of. And it's a terrible illness. I allways remember my dad taking a blue tablet. In the early stages. Cant remember what there were called. But they realy help him. But as time went on. He was put on time morphine. So you can see. my sis is a masseuse and she has had clients with ms... it might help her relax and cope pain wise with a nice relaxing massage.

I"m A RN and yes i see this some times to
this can be controlled with therapy and pain pills.
now, if she is having trouble with her meds,then it's to high or she hasn't had time enough to get used to the meds,or try to half It and take it later on in the day.
this can help to.
but try massage therapy first and then the meds.

my friend has parkinsons she felt sick on the tablets once reduced and found the best doseage for her she okay sorry to not be much help and sorry to hear shes having a bad time hope she feels better soon x
