I have a growth on my lower lips that looks like a mole.?

Question:
I have to remove it as it isn't a mole and it grows. It has grown over the months and it's irritating my upper lip. Does anyone know what is this "growth" called in medical term as I wish to search for more info before going for an op?

Answers:
A dermatologist can examine it, run tests and determine if it's a melanoma. Early detection and treatment of such gives the patient better chances of being clear of it.

Other Answers:
Go and see a doctor, he/she will probably remove it, then put the poor little thing back in the ground where it belongs.
Your dermatologist is the one that should be answering that!! Have you had it tested to see if it is malignant or benign? If you have not done so, get to a dermatologist and have the expert thoroughly check it out!! NOW!! GET 'R DONE!
You need to get it checked out. It could be something as simple as fat or oil deposits to something more complicated.
Unless it's huge it should probably be fairly simple to remove. Get it checked out quickly. There are many doctors in Singapore which open on weekends and late nights, if you need to work. Raffles Hospital for example, and a few in Tiong Bahru opposite Tiong Bahru Plaza.
