Does anyone experience severe panic attacks for no reason at all?
Question:
Answers:
This sort of thing *can* be caused by exposure to synthetic chemicals, especially cleaning products, pesticides, and even fragrances. Cigarette smoke is the worst one for me. Some of us don't break these things down quickly enough and they build up in the body, which can create all sorts of problems.
Nutrition can play a part as well.
Try searching under 'chemical injury' and see if it makes sense to you.

Sure do, but when I took ativan it calmed me down right away but when it wore off I had worse re-bound attacks. I switched to Klonopin & it was much better. Also have your blood sugar checked to see if are hypoglycemic.
About 1 year ago I had the same problem. I would feel my heart beating rapidly, have shortness of breath, and my whole body would get numb. I even called 911 because I thought my life was ending, but then one day I decided that it was only something silly, and it just went away. I was 18.
a very close friend of mine first experienced it when she was 19years old.she's nearly 28 now and just last year she had panic attacks again. it's not because of a 'no reason' at all but 'something' must have triggered it. she's goes to counselling to find out why that happens.

I have patients who go through that on a daily bases, talk to your md about changing your med to haldol or xanax or any of the more effective meds for that,i hope you feel better.
I know of someone that had them because he went to Vietnam War and he and his wife went to a Psychiatrist. The Psychiatrist taught him how to calm himself down. Perhaps a Psychiatrist will help. In his case, the nerves were shot because of horrors from Vietnam War. He used to worry about every little thing. So try psychiartist and see if they can help find the problem.

Yea, definitely.. One day, i was at my desk studying for my finals and suddenly i felt dizzy and a second later, i was on the floor. I was scared of everything. I couldn't figure out what though. I don't know but if you think of happy moments they tend to go away faster.
you may be suffering from hysteria or hypochondria consult a psychiatrist
If you were abused in childhood, that can trigger panic attacks in adulthood.
