How long does the effect of Botox last on the face?

Question: Just curious how long the skin around someone's eyes stays pulled tight. I've never had it, but seen a few celebrities who have, so I've wondered what the duration of the stretching is.

Answers:
I had some botox for another condition which turned out to cause some problems. I have been told that it will take anywhere from 3 - 6 months to wear off depending on how my body absorbs it. It has been two months and there has been no lessening at this point.
