Fibromyalgia is a nice way for the doctors to say that there is no physical reasons for your pain, and that it is all in your head..

So, having long hair could cause pain with fibromyalgia..considering that being alive causes EVERYTHING when you have fibromyalgia.
I have FM and shoulder length hair. My hair is not a problem for me anymore, however when it was longer, it did cause me neck and shoulder pain.

Hope it helps.
Not that I've noticed. What has happened to cause you to ask this question and have you discussed this with your doctor.
