I had a hysterectomy. Later, I was diagnosed with cuff hematoma, and cellulitus. What causes this? Cures?

Question:
I was in excruiating pain. I was not given anything for pain until 8 hours later. Why did they wait so long? I was admitted and then put on antibiotic and pain med drip. What would have happened had I not gone to ER?

Answers:
I don't know anything about cuff hematoma, but I had two cases of cellulitis last year. Cellulitus is a bacteria infection. I got stung by a bee and then had foot surgery and developed it both times. It happens after the wound gets contaminated. If left untreated, obviously worst case scenario, cellulitis can kill you. The only thing you can do is take antibiotics to help cure it.
