Can little intake of protein cause allergy?

Question:
My wife has been taking no cereals/egg/meat for past 45 days. She has developed a few large reddish spots with swelling which itche. Could it be due to meagre intake of protein? She is diabetic also.

Answers:
for diabetics they need good protein sources especially if her sugar is hard to control protein and vit c are needed for skin protection in diabetics protein is used for energy not good since its carbs that are needed for energy one big negative cycle so she should eat proteins daily best sources are lean meats ( deer meat is excellent ) peanut butter eggs tuna salmon beans and nuts and tofu

Other Answers:
You should ask a doctor that. I don't know what role protein plays, but an allergy is when the body is rejecting something that it detects as harmful to the body, whether it is or not. Protein, or lack thereof might have something to do with how her body is reacting to things around her.
She really should eat protein though. If she won't eat meat, she should try eating peanuts or cashews.
