Am I allergic to fir trees??

Question:
Just spent the day trimming a friends ornamental but large fir trees. Now I have a bad rash on both arms. I have used Zinc and caster oil cream on it. Is this all I can do. Has this happened to anyone else???

Answers:
no you are not allergic to the trees.
i have a very long large hedge made up of leylandi trees and every time we have to trim them we all get the same rash.
even the grandchildren when playing in the garden will get the rash if they play in amonst them.
so please don't worry, it is perfectly normal,
It may be the fir trees or possibly any number of other weeds and stuff you might have handled.

You could try vodka on the rash. If that doesn't work, drink the rest of the vodka and wait.
it could be migge bites
