Go to the doctor, before he gives you an ulcer.
Could be a gastritis, acid pepetic disease. try proton pump inhibitors and antacids
Best to get it checked by a professional..tell your family doctor what's going on, they can either refer you to a specialist and run tests, which I've had some done myself.. and there's nothing to it!

This happen to me. I have pancreatitis, I was born with it. It did not manifest itself in this way until my gall bladder acted up and was removed, then all hell broke loose. I have been in the hospital so many times with these same symptoms. Does his pain feel "crushing" around his abdomen and back? Does it happen after eating certain foods? All these things have to be asked. Most important of all he MUST see a gastroenterologist. these doctors specialize in all areas of the stomach, pancreas, intestines,etc. Please, tell him to seek help. I don't have cancer and it doesn't sound like he does, but to be sure, he has to see a doctor. there is no other way to tell what's wrong with him.
