shouldn't there be background checks on your health on some job applications?

Question: i think is SOME, not all, jobs should ask for medical history just like they ask if you have ever had a felony. they are so caught up on you criminal history that they forget about all the deadly diseases that some may carry. Imagine the person in charge of slicing the produce at your local grocery has full blown AIDS. i don't think this is the biggest issue on our plate(no pun intended) but i think it should be taken into consideration where cross contamination is highly likely you know what i mean. p.s: this question isn't solely about AIDS, its in regards any disease of your concern

I agree with the person above, besides, it could cause problems with the applicant getting insurance coverage from the prospective employer.
