My friend has a skin condition. Does anyone have an idea what it might be??

She has round spots all over her arms and legs. the places on her arms bleed sometimes as if they might itch at night. Her mom has the same thing. i'm too embarassed to ask her.Any ideas?

Very difficult to say without seeing them. What color are they? Approx. how big, and how many (just a few, dozens, hundreds)? One possibility which springs to mind is urticaria pigmentosa. Check out the pics at the link below (source) and see if any of them look similar. Also you can look around other pages of that website, it is a very comprehensive reference for dermatological disorders, with lots of photos.

She might have acne on her arms, it's not unheard of. Or she might have a skin infection, or eczema, or a number of things. Honestly, it's none of your business. If she wants you to know what it is, she'll tell you.

It could be old mosquito bites, chigger bites, she could have been abused. Again, it's really none of your business.

sounds a little like ring worm which can be treated but it is hard to tell without seeing
