What is a RODENT ULCER, and is it dangerous?
Question:
Answers:
RODENT ULCER= basal cell carcinoma,
this is a type of cancer of the skin which is extremely slow growing. often it appears on the sun exposed part of the face, thus specifically above a line drawn from the angle of the lip to the front of the ear.
since this cancer occurs also in the line following the track of the tears it is called "tear cancer"
this is very slow growing type of cancer and takes years to spread making it a very easy cancer to surgically excise and usually doesnt recurr.
anything else. oh and dont worry it will not recur, if properly excised and it is called rodent ulcer because it digs into the skin, like a mouse into the ground and also may rarely destroy the bone
