Since the encounter I have been experiencing a sore throat, headaches, chills and fatigue. Coincidence or kiss of death?

Just go to NHS and get it done, if it comes back negative, no big whoop - you're good. If it comes back positive, which is highly unlikely, they would be the best people to give you some treatment options.
