1 in 4 have herpes!!??

Question: My doctor has said 1 in 5 men, 1 in 4 girls have it. My skin specialist said, go to a bar and its 1 in 3 because of the age group. I'm having a very very seriously hard time believing this.....

Haha, yeah that is true! Acordding to the CDC, like you said, 1 in 4 women have genital herpes and 1 in 5 men have it. I think most people don't realize how common it really is!

Well, coldsores are actually herpes too. There are more than one form.

Sounds like your doctor is trying to scare you, but safe sex is the best practice regardless.
