If I have sex and have mrsa will my partner get it?
Question:

Noooooo! I've had MRSA for the last three years! I'm also trying for a baby (yes, that's ok too, and my GP knows about it, and is fine with it, and I'm being responsible etc...) Many people carry MRSA anyway, it only becomes a problem if you have a comprimised immune system or an open wound. It is not sexually transmitted. I've been sharing a bed, showers, towles, crockery etc with my husband to no affect. the only time we had to be careful was when my laparotomy scar (cut down middle of my tummy) became infected. I had it dressed so was ok hugging etc, but as I had an active infection we did take extra care washing hands etc.
Possibly. Were you having sex with your brother??????
