Contact teaching hospitals in your area. They all do charity care.

Unfortunately, the price you pay for not having insurance is that you have to make do with charity care and the teaching of residents.

You should also meet with the hospital's social worker to see if your daughter is eligible for medical assistance.

Refusing tests and signing out AMA could be contributing to your daughter's problems. Find a different surgeon in a different hospital for another opinion.
