There are little bumps on the back of my upper arms!?

Question:
There are little bumps growing on the back of my upper left arm. They don't itch, by they feel strange. I have quite a few on my left arm, and some are starting to grow on my right. What is happening?

Oh, by the way, it doesn't itch, but some of the bumps are red. But that's because I scratched them a bit, I think.

Answers:
Causes could be blocked pores or ingrown hairs.

Exfoliate your arms with bath gloves or a loofah, and use a cleanser with salicylic acid in it. This should help.

Are you taking steroids? When I'm at the gym, I can always tell which guys are shooting up 'roids because have acne on their arms and necks. It's a tell-tale sign of steroid use.
Even if your not on 'roids, it could still be acne. Or some other kind of rash. I'd see the doc if I were you.
I call it "chicken skin" and it comes and goes. It seems to be contageous, though I don't think it is. They are little calcium deposits and have a little white, hard center until you pick at them, which causes them to be red. Nothing you can do, really, unless you want to see your dermatologist.
