Is there any problem with someone who feels sleepy immediately after taking her meal?

Most people feel sleepy after meals because the body is devoting a lot of energy to digesting your food, so that means you have less energy to do your normal everyday tasks. If that's the only symptom you're displaying then you should be OK. However, if you get to the point where you get shaky if you miss a meal then you should see your doctor -- those two symptoms may indicate hypoglycemia. Don't panic; it doesn't indicate hypoglycemia most of the time, but better safe than sorry.
I've got that occasionally, depending on what I've eaten. I've also seen someone who gets like that after every meal. It's nothing to worry about .. just your digestive system getting to work on whatever you've eaten and I guess our systems find some foods a little bit harder to work on than others. They might to want to check what food causes this reaction if they want to prevent it from happening.

Possibly, but it also depends on the contents of the meal. Some foods just make a person sleepy.
Yes - your diet is out of whack most likely. Try cutting down/out starches and pastas and eating more veggies, salads, etc. Also, you might be taking in too much protein, meat, etc. Your body should not have to work that hard to digest! Your colon is probably bogged down with too many preservatives and chemicals. You should also try to walk a little after every meal to readjust your metabolism.
Good luck.
Two other factors that contribute to the desire to sleep at the dinner table are meal composition and increased blood flow to the gastrointestinal tract. Studies have shown that a solid-food meal resulted in faster fatigue onset than a liquid diet. The solid-food meal also causes a variety of substances to jump into action that ultimately leads to increased blood flow to the abdomen. This increase in blood flow and an increase in the metabolic rate for digestion can contribute to the "coma."1
Everyone gets sleepy after eating. It's because much of your body's energy goes towards digesting what you just ate.
I hope not. I could take a nice nap right now. I wonder if I would get in more trouble sleeping at work or being on Answers?
Seriously, one thing to consider, after a while, if the sleepiness doesn't go away, could mean your blood sugar is too high. Best to check and correct if needed in situations like that.
