Worst Canadian/World Cities for Allergies?

Hi,

I've been suffering from seasonal allergies since my 20th birthday, I'm 23 now. I am allergic to pollen, grass, molds, pet dander and dust mites. I currently live in the Netherlands and am planning to move to Canada next year and was wondering as someone who is easily prone to airborn allergens, which Canadian cities should I avoid?

another hiv query?

I'm not exactly sure about allergies -- are they affected by humidity negatively? If so avoid both British Columbia and S. Ontario. I know people with athsma prefer to live in the provinces with a drier climate such as Manitoba. Unfortunately BC & S. Ont are 2 of the main places to find jobs.

BTW I'm from a Dutch background myself -- father from Kampen and mother from near Groningen. There's a ton of "dike stompers" in the Burlington, Hamilton & surrounding area in S. Ontario. Lots in the lower mainland in BC too (lived there too for a while).

I have a nasty upper respiratory infection that's now heading towards.?

First you want to avoid provinces such as Ontario and British Columbia. But basically all provinces here in Canada will not be considered allergy free since we do have 4 seasons throughout the year, you are pretty much going to have to put up with it no matter where you go. I live in New Brunswick and know lots with allergies, then again I have friends all across the country and majority have allergies. I did hear that Manitoba might be the better place, but I've never lived there so cannot say 100% if that's true or not.

want to know the differences between asthma and COPD ?

I've heard living North (NorthBay, Sudbury, Elliot Lake) is better for allergies.
