I recently tested positive for Herpes. I have told the girl I am currently with and things seem to be going well. Your partner should know before the two of you start getting physical. It is not fair for you not to tell your partner, but on the other hand it doesn't need to be brought up if it doesn't apply towards where the relationship is at (i.e. if it's a first date and there hasn't been any sexual contact). I'm glad that your current interest is taking it well. perhaps this can be the start of things to come.
