I have a kerracornea whch affects the vision of my right eye. does this affect my ability to drive?
Question:
Answers:
It will affect your ability to drive but it doesn't mean you will be stoped from driving. My partner has cataracts and is virtually blind in one eye at the moment, but he has not been stopped from driving. However, he does have to be extra careful, look twice all the time and always check again. I also know of someone who was able to drive despite having 1 glass eye.
The optician/doctor should tell you if driving is not advisable.
Other Answers:
yes it will affect ur vision while driving so u should be careful
You must inform DVLA if you have visual problems. But if the other eye is good it shouldn't make you lose your licence. Your insurance company too.
