"AKT 3" is "Anti Koch's Tablets 3" . Tuberculosis bacilli is also called Koch's bacillus, after its inventer Robert Koch. AKT3 is a daily kit of 3 tablets. The first (brown) contains Isoniazid and Rifampicin, which has to be taken in the morning on empty stomach. The other 2 white tablets are Pyrazinamide (to be taken in the afternoon and Ethambutol(to be taken in the night). This is to be continued for atleast 2 months.
