im just seeing if there is anyone that want to talk about What is was like to be around while your sibiling went thoght this time

it was very painful. I watched my brother go from 200 something pounds to less than 100 pounds before he died. He was diagnosed with renal cancer, cancer of the kidneys. He went from Sloan-Kettering Hospital in Manhattan to Calvary Hospital in the Bronx. My mother went much more often than I did. I'll never forget the first time I saw him in Calvary Hospital, his face his body so skinny, even now just writing about it, almost brings tears to my eyes. I miss him so much. Everyday, I wish that I could talk to him, hug him and just tell him how much I love him. I miss him so much, his name was max.

My cousin has cancer.

Shes been going through so many medications and things are not going so well. Although she does show that she is really strong, I do cry at times because I can still remember her growing up and just the thought of losing her at any time makes me break into tears.

I just hope no one has to go through this, its worse to see someone around you having an illness rather that carrying the illness itself.

hello my brother or sister hasn't had cancer . but i just lost my dad 1 month and 1 day ago . now my mom's mom is diagnosed with cancer . i just want to let you know it was hard seeing my dad suffer and get worst day after day . you have to have a strong shoulder when they need to talk and cry when your not in front of them .

no, but I was the one with the cancer..I can't tell you how supportive my brother was to me, he cried all the time, in front of me, and I consoled him! It was a beautiful thing having him go through this with me.he was there for me all the way.I've been in remission for 5 years and he still calls to make sure I'm feeling well and going to my appointments! He's turning into my mother, lol, but its nice to know how much he cares!
