Does flax contain gluten?

Question: I have celiac disease (=intolerance to gluten). Gluten is found in wheat, rye, barley, and oat. I'm wondering if flax also contains gluten.

Not that I have read. My husband has celiac disease, and I have read 3 books - some by doctors.

I avoid flax due to my diabetic diet. I understand that although it has great things like omega-6 (I think) it also contains an acid that does not help (arachidontic acid - spelling approximate).
