Machine made cigars do not usually have any additives so there should be no difference.
There may be confusion with the myth about hand rolled cigarettes. Machine made ones have salt peter and other additives to keep them burning. Some people say this increases the risk. On the other hand, hand rolled cigaretttes go out if not puffed at very regularly so people tend to keep them in their mouths thus taking in a continual dribble of smoke which is probably far worse.
