When back pain becomes chronic, you need help. At the very least you should have some ex-rays done. Although, if you have been to a rheumatologist then you may have already had some done. I had some done at a hospital, they ignored the bone problems, all they looked for was broken bones. If you go to a chiropractor, he will not only take ex-rays, but he will explain and show you what you are seeing and how he might be able to help you. I had chronic back pain for 10 yrs. after the birth of my daughter, I am now 75% pain free. I've been going for about nine months now and it has helped me greatly. I hope you get relief soon!

I AM NOT a fan of chiropractors but.. yes, BUT your situation sounds as if you might have a problem with back alighment and would suggest you going to a GOOD(if one can be found) chiropractor. If you have a doctor.. you might just call him and ask him if he has any recommendation for a chiropractor..
I would go see a chiropractor. They should get a lot more credit than they deserve. I have been to a chiropractor for various times in my life regarding pain and it's help everytime. Good luck.
Relief from who? You mean a rheumatologist? You really need to go to the doctor and have a series of X-rays and an MRI done. It sounds as though you may have a serious problem with the spine, alignment problem, or something else. Get to the doctor (and skip the chiropractor, as they have screwed up more people than they ever helped in my opinion). You might have something serious and you need to get some of the aforementioned testing done.
