what std causes tubal infection?

Question:

Answers:
Bacterial STDs can cause tubal infections if left untreated. Chlamydia and gonorrhea can cause this.

Chlamydia can cause pelvic inflammatory disease, which can lead to:
* ectopic pregnancy (a pregnancy outside the womb)
* blocked fallopian tubes (the tubes which carry the egg from the ovaries to the womb), which can result in reduced fertility or infertility
* long-term pelvic pain
* early miscarriage or premature birth

Gonorrhea can cause:
* life-threatening complications such as ectopic pregnancy (outside the womb)
* blocked fallopian tubes (the tubes which carry the egg from the ovaries to the womb), which can result in reduced fertility or infertility
* long-term pelvic pain

Chlamydia, Gonorrhea and Syphilis can cause tubal infections.

I would say mostly bacterial like chlamydia or gonnorhea. But you could also have a tubal infection from things that aren't STDS like bacterial vagninosis if its not treated. I have heard people can also have scar tissue from an abortion.
