How do you get some one to stop snoring ? I can not sleep at night couse of my boyfriend.Help me please?
Question:
Answers:
There are causes of snoring that may possibly be helped by a sleep study to determine if sleep apnea is present.
There are surgeries available, or some use a C-PAP machine to keep the airways open while sleeping.
A good ENT should be able to help with your problem.

kick him out of the room, or you move to another room.

I have 2 agree with the lady jv637 on that
teabag his hose
The are special nose strips that stop that.
Use a clothespin to clip his nose shut .and then run, he won't stop snoring but just the mental picture makes me giggle :) Angel
Try pushing him on his side or ask him to sleep on his stomach.
There are snoring splints that you can get from a dentist but your boyfriend really needs to have a sleep study done before he thinks about getting one of these as he needs to be tested for sleep apnea. This is a dangerous problem and one that can go undiagnosed in many patients that snore (and also ones that don't snore).
That is the question of the times.
Is it really bad? Have him see a specialist they can tell you what you can do. They do have anti-snoring devices. He may need a sleep study, they're actually really cool to do. I had one. They said I snored a lot but no sleep apnea. If he has sleep apnea, that is life threatning and he should definitely get it checked out.
Does he stop in a certain position. Try pushing him while he's sleeping to that position.
Try sleeping earlier than him so you don't have to hear him lol.
Get him to lose weight. Weight can do it. Does he need his adenoids taken out (go get them xrayed) my daughter's were so huge, they took like half her head up and I had them removed and snoring solved!
Go to an allergiest. They can xray his adenoids (behind tongue in throat area). They can see if he needs allergy medicines or has blocked sinuses, etc. If he has a deviated (crooked) septum (nose bridge area) then he will also snore and may need minor nose surgery.
Snoring occurs as an blockage of the upper respiratory system by the tongue. So basically if you can control the tongue, you can control the snoring. The two biggest ways are either having him lie on his side or his stomach. I have talked with some people and they refuse to lie on their side or stomach because it is uncomfortable. If they work at it, they will soon find it comfortable. I would keep talking with him and have him try to lie on his side.
