Anastrole for breast cancer...doctor said it saves 1 in 100 lives??

Question: Seems a very low percentage for all the side effects connected with such a potent drug...Can this be true. I would appreciate an answer asap

Anastrazole is a non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor, and blocks conversion of androgens to oestrogen. It is only effective in post-menopausal women. Side-effects are similar to those of tamoxifen.

Not sure about how many lives in saves, but if it is 1 in 100, that is a good ratio for a drug.
