Is there a natrual way to soothe eczema?
Question:
Answers:
My daughter and myself have eczema. I have it just briefly on occasion, a spot here and there, but my daughter gets it in a really bad way. One winter, her hands got so chapped from the eczema that they were a bright, bright red on both top and bottom. We have found that Aveeno oatmeal baths work wonders during the winter, especially for prevention. We use it at least once a week in the bathtub during the winter months. Also, I use Aveeno lotion on her entire body from head to toe at least once a week. I use Eucerine (not sure about spelling) lotion on problem areas such as her face, hands, and elbow areas. Since I started this regimen, we have not had any serious break-outs!
Good luck to you!
Try aloe.
OATMEAL BATHS
IT WORKS GREAT ON MY 2 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER
Not really. Eczema is actually an immuno-responce problem. You can try over the counters (like anything with Dimethicone) or your doctor can prescribe a great steroid to soothe it and prevent flares (for hand dermatitis, ApexiCon is really inexpensive). But there is nothing in your kitchen or health store that will solve the problem for you.
Yes My little girl has eczema real bad. You can use prepared oat meal. Or you can get some aveeno its pretty natural.and its made with oats
COCOA OR SHEA BUTTER/LOTION, ALOE, OLIVE OIL, AND I'M NOT SURE IF THIS IS CONSIDERED NATURAL BUT PETROLEUM JELLY WORKS AND SO DOES BABY OIL.
