I have heard that living in a warm dry climate is easier to live in when you have chronic health conditions.?

Question:
I have chronic bronchitis, osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia. Would a warm dry climate help me? Should I consider this option?

Answers:
Talk to your doctor, but generally a low humidity/warm climate is more friendly for the conditions you mention...easier to breath (humidity can be smothering) and damp or chilly climates are often torture for arthritis sufferers...

Other Answers:
Yes, take a vacation to the west, and see if your breathing is easier. One caution, many western states are at altitude, so it takes time to get used to the reduced oxygen levels.
My elderly neighbor has emphysema and they are looking to move to the US Virgin Islands for his health. The humidity where we live is so bad that some days he can't come outside at all. He is on an oxygen tank all the time. They want to move to the islands for the warm dry climate to help him be more comfortable.
